This workshop is designed to help caregivers achieve balance through yoga and mindfulness. It integrates gentle yoga practices, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques to reduce stress and enhance well-being. Participants will gain practical self-care tools to strengthen resilience. Suitable for all caregivers, this session offers a supportive space to address caregiver stress and explore how yoga can restore balance.

Meet Dr. Thamarai Moorthy

Registered Psychologist, 300 Hour Yoga Association of Alberta Certified

Thamarai is a registered psychologist and certified yoga teacher. She combines mindfulness and yoga practices with traditional psychotherapies to help individuals manage a variety of life challenges and achieve a sense of well-being. Thamarai has a doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Saskatchewan and has completed training at the UC San Diego Centre for Mindfulness. She continues to enrich and deepen her practice of yoga- and mindfulness-informed therapies through her studies with local and international Senior Yoga Teachers and Psychologists, including the Svastha Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda group, based in Chennai, India.
