Begin the new year by slowing down, turning inward, and creating space for meaningful growth. This Mindfulness, Restorative & Self Practice weekend intensive—part of our Expand & Explore program—is a powerful opportunity to reset, reflect, and reconnect with yourself both on and off the mat.
Designed for students who want to deepen their yoga practice and support personal growth, this immersive experience weaves together mindful movement, restorative yoga, and guided self-practice. Restorative yoga sessions will focus on deep relaxation and nervous system regulation through long-held, fully supported postures. Participants will learn how to skillfully use props to create comfort and ease, allowing the body to release tension while cultivating mental clarity and resilience. These practices encourage rest, recovery, and balance, offering tools that can be integrated into daily life.
Self-practice is an essential component of this intensive, inviting participants to develop autonomy, awareness, and confidence in their personal practice. Through guided exploration, reflection, and inquiry, students will learn how to listen to their bodies, make informed choices, and adapt practices to meet their individual needs. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating mindfulness, consistency, and intention, both within structured practice and independent exploration.
Throughout the weekend, participants will continue to explore asanas (postures) with attention to alignment, modifications, hands-on adjustments, and the intelligent use of props. Beyond the physical practice, this intensive fosters curiosity, self-awareness, and meaningful community connection.
Whether you are seeking to refine your understanding of yoga or begin the year with greater presence and intention, this weekend offers a supportive and nourishing environment to learn, grow, and expand—together.
