Start your new year with the energizing practice of Sun salutations and stabilizing and calming Asanas and Pranayama to prepare the body -mind for inner silence. There will be a small discussion on the Ayurvedic and yogic principles to bring alignment with the inner and the outer nature.

Meet Neeru

Neeru is a lifelong student of Yoga and Vedanta and she loves to share the ancient and wholistic teachings of yoga the way she has learned from her teachers. Yoga has been a part of her life for more than 25 years and she holds an advanced yoga teacher certification under the Indian yoga association and 500 HRS from the Yoga Association of Alberta.

She had the opportunity to learn authentic yoga under the guidance of some of the experienced teachers at Kaivalyadhama, India.Even though she was practicing yoga from a young age, this training introduced her to the world of yoga in its true sense. She continued her studies under Sudhir Tiwariji from the same tradition.

She also likes to share the amazing teachings of Swami Gitananda of Rishiculture Ashtanga yoga tradition and has been studying in the lineage under the guidance of Dr. Ananda Balyogi Bhavnani. She feels fortunate to find her Vedanta teacher with whom she has been studying non dualistic philosophy (Brahma Vidya) from the last four to five years.
